The Polypipe system, compatible with this valve actuator, is suitable for use in both hot and cold water supply applications. It meets the rigorous standards set by the Polybutylene Piping Systems Association (P.B.P.S.A), of which Polypipe Building Products Ltd is a proud member.
Manufactured in accordance with BS EN ISO 9002 and following the recommendations of BS5955 - Part 8 2001 Plastic Pipework (Thermoplastic Materials), this valve actuator guarantees exceptional quality and adherence to industry standards.
The Polypipe 2 Wire Underfloor Heating Valve Actuator is designed to operate in working applications up to 12 Bar/20 Degrees Centigrade (6 Bar/90 Degrees Centigrade). It has been rigorously tested and approved to meet the British Standard Class S rated to BS7291 Part 1 and Kitemark License Number 38148 to BS7291 Part 2. It is also WRAS approved and KIWA/KOMO approved, ensuring its compliance with safety and performance standards.
The valve actuator is part of the BBA certified Polypipe polybutylene barrier pipe system. This certification, with BBA Certificate Number 00/3699, confirms the high quality and reliability of the Polypipe range, including barrier pipe, fittings, and accessories.
For added durability and protection, the Polypipe barrier pipe is tested according to DIN 4726 and DIN 4727 standards. However, it is important to note that the Polypipe system is not suitable for the transportation of gases and should be protected from UV light exposure.
